Application-Only · Since 2024
CollabTrail Retreats gather India's most deliberate builders in extraordinary landscapes. No agenda. No performance. Just the conditions that make genuine thinking possible.
Every cohort is built by hand. We reject more applications than we accept — not from ego, but because the room is the product.
No keynotes, no panels, no sponsored dinners. What happens at a CollabTrail retreat is determined by the people in the room, nothing else.
Every location is chosen because it does something to the mind that a conference room cannot. We chase that effect deliberately.
Devices exist. We create environments where the pull to use them simply isn't there. That is harder to design than any agenda.
Our Manifesto
01 — Time
Research on focused retreat environments consistently shows that 48 hours of genuine removal from daily stimuli produces cognitive shifts that months of morning routines cannot replicate. We design around that science.
02 — People
The people you spend intensive time with shape your thinking at a neurological level. We take that seriously when we build each cohort — more seriously than most hiring committees.
03 — India
The Himalayas, the Ghats, the Thar — these are not backdrops. They are forces that reorganise what feels urgent and what is actually important. No equivalent environment exists in any office building.
04 — Format
Twelve people. Three days. No agenda until morning. It sounds spartan. The outcomes that participants report — decisions made, partnerships formed, clarity found — consistently outperform larger, more structured programs.
05 — Access
Open enrollment degrades the room. A curated application process ensures that everyone present has chosen to be there, and that their presence adds something meaningful to everyone else.
06 — After
CollabTrail alumni consistently attribute specific decisions, collaborations, and perspective shifts to what started in the retreat. That is not incidental — it is the entire product. The retreat ends. The effect doesn't.
Each location is chosen for what it does, not how it photographs. Apply early — cohorts close within the first week of opening.

Cohort 2025
CollabTrail is designed for people who already do meaningful work and are ready to invest in the conditions that make great work possible. If that is you, the application takes five minutes.
We review every application personally. Response within 5–7 days.
