Private Offline Retreats · India
CollabTrail gathers India's most deliberate builders in landscapes chosen because of what they do to the mind — not how they look on a slide deck.
Curated · Application-Only · 2025
Twelve people, chosen carefully. Three days, without agenda. India's most extraordinary landscapes as the third participant in every conversation.
What CollabTrail Is
CollabTrail Retreats are small, deliberately designed gatherings for Indian founders, creative directors, and independent operators. Twelve participants per cohort, chosen by application. Three to four days in a landscape chosen for its capacity to sharpen — not relax — the mind.
The format is simple because it has to be. No speakers, no structure, no itinerary given in advance. The room dictates what's needed. The only rule is presence: full, sustained, offline presence. The kind that is almost impossible to manufacture outside of a setting like this.
What We Believe
We curate participants more carefully than most companies hire senior staff. The quality of your cohort is the single highest-leverage thing we can control — and we take it seriously.
The Western Ghats, the Thar desert, the high Himalayas — each produces a distinctly different quality of thinking. We choose locations deliberately, not aesthetically.
There are no keynotes, no breakout sessions, no sponsored content. The time is unstructured on purpose. What emerges from unstructured time with excellent people routinely surprises everyone.
We do not confiscate phones. We create environments where the compulsion to use them simply doesn't arise. That is harder to design than any rule — and far more effective.
Twelve people is a deliberate choice. The conversations possible at twelve are qualitatively different from the conversations possible at two hundred. We trade scale for depth, every time.
CollabTrail alumni consistently trace specific decisions, collaborations, and perspective shifts to what began at a retreat. The retreat ends. What it produces does not — and that is the whole idea.

Three days inside India's oldest forest ecosystem. The depth of silence here is different from silence elsewhere — and it does something specific to how you think about the future.

The desert has stripped everything unnecessary from itself over ten thousand years. Spending three days inside that logic tends to do something similar to the thinking of anyone present.
